Mr Spreadbury will run the Rubik Group’s software development function with the aim of making it more efficient and effective. He will also review the firm’s onshore/offshore mix and the in-house/outsourced ratio.
Rubik said Mr Spreadbury has had “substantial executive leadership experience in the areas of business operations, technology and transformation within financial services in Australia, including wealth management and general insurance”.
His previous roles include executive director and chief investment officer at ING Australia; general manager of operations and technology at ANZ Investments; and SVP, operations and technology, at Bankers Trust.
