Rest has strengthened its investment leadership team with the appointment of a former Qantas Super executive to a newly created role supporting the fund’s investment strategy.
The profit-to-member superannuation fund announced Andy Moser had joined as head of CIO office, working alongside chief investment officer Michael Clancy.
Moser brings more than 15 years of experience across the finance and superannuation sector. Before joining
Rest, he spent more than a decade at Qantas Super between 2012 and 2025, including serving as chief financial officer from 2019.
According to Clancy, Moser will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of the Investments team’s business plan, while overseeing a range of functions across the broader team.
“Andy brings deep expertise, a practical mindset and a collaborative leadership style that will be essential as we evolve our investments function to continue delivering strong outcomes for our 2 million members,” Clancy said.
“Andy combines strategic financial leadership with disciplined execution, strong governance and collaborative stakeholder engagement. He will make a valuable contribution to Rest and our members.”
The appointment comes as Rest continues to build out its investment capabilities in support of its growing membership base and long-term investment objectives.
Moser commenced with Rest on 1 June and is based in Sydney, reporting directly to Clancy.
