Mr Kwang was previously the lead Asia Pacific portfolio manager for Standard Life Investments’ global real estate funds.
Neuberger Berman Global Real Estate Securities senior portfolio manager Steve Shigekawa said Mr Kwang was a “highly skilled investor in the Asia Pacific property markets”.
“He will be an important part of our global real estate securities team and will lead our efforts in the region,” said Mr Shigekawa.
Before his role at Standard Life, Mr Kwang served as a senior portfolio manager in Asia for Perennial Investment Partners
Earlier, he was a director and head of regional property research for ABN Amro Bank, and a research/property analyst at NatWest Securities and UBS Warburg.
