Pengana appoints strategic account manager

Pengana Capital Group has hired a former NAB Asset Management strategic account manager to a similar role at the firm.

In a statement, Pengana announced that Brett Guerin has been appointed to the newly created role of strategic account manager where he will be responsible for managing major Australian dealer groups and their platforms.

Prior to joining Pengana, Mr Guerin was at NAB Asset Management for six years as an investment specialist for the states of NSW and ACT, and then a strategic account manager where he developed and drove the sales strategy for new funds.

Before that, he held business development manager roles at Perpetual and IOOF between 2008 and 2012.

Commenting on the appointment, Pengana director of distribution Damian Crowley said: “We’re very pleased to welcome such an experienced funds management distribution professional to our team.

”Brett has a demonstrated track record of managing strategic relationships and will play a significant role in driving our key account strategy forward.”

Mr Guerin will be based in Sydney and has already commenced in his role.
