The Financial Services Council has announced the departure of two senior policy managers who cover superannuation, investment, technology and innovation.

FSC senior policy managers Blake Briggs and Carla Hoorweg, who cover superannuation and investment/technology/innovation respectively, have left the lobby group.

Mr Briggs is leaving the FSC for a role at BT Financial Group, where he will lead the government relations team.

The FSC is currently undertaking a search for two replacements, with Mr Briggs and Ms Hoorweg set to leave in mid-February.

Mr Briggs and Ms Hoorweg, who have both been at FSC for six years, were thanked for their contribution by chief executive Sally Loane.

"Carla and Blake, in successfully advocating for a raft of positive policy changes in superannuation and funds management, have helped deliver lasting policy legacies which serve the national interest for all Australians," Ms Loane said.

"I thank them both for their major contributions to the FSC and our members and wish them well in their future careers," she said.
