Perth-headquartered advice firm Integro Private Wealth has made its first on-the-ground adviser hire in Victoria.

Daniel Secatore has joined Integro as a financial adviser to support its existing client base in Melbourne while working on cultivating new relationships in the region.

Bringing experience across financial planning, mortgage broking and property, Secatore has worked at firms including financial advice firm UFinancial and real estate agencies Marshall White and Woodards Real Estate.

His appointment marks another step for the firm in its national expansion strategy which has seen Integro grow from a solely Western Australia based business to have a presence across the country over the last 12 months, leading it to surpass $1 billion in funds under advice (FUA) earlier this year.

Integro’s managing partner, Justin Gilmour, said bringing Secatore on board will position the firm for future growth within Victoria, a key region for the business and in the advice sector more broadly.

“Victoria remains a significant growth market for Integro, both in supporting our existing clients and identifying opportunities to expand the business as demand for high-quality financial advice continues to increase.

“We’re seeing rising demand from high-net-worth individuals, business owners and family offices seeking more sophisticated and personalised advice solutions, particularly in Victoria, which continues to be a major hub for family office activity in Australia.”

Secator added: “Integro has built a strong reputation for putting clients at the centre of the advice process and taking a genuinely holistic approach. I’m looking forward to helping more Australians navigate important financial decisions with confidence and clarity.”

Noting the changes occurring in Australia’s superannuation and tax systems, Gilmour explained the increasingly important role of financial advisers, particularly in regard to new changes introduce in the latest federal budget.

“With ongoing changes to capital gains tax, Division 296 and negative gearing, more Australians are seeking professional financial advice to better understand the long-term impact these changes may have on their wealth creation, retirement planning and investment strategies.”

The hire also follows Integro’s April merger with Bunbury based advice firm, Lighthouse Capital Southwest, building on its 2024 partnership with AMD Chartered Accountants.

Gilmour said: “Acquiring and integrating existing advice practices also remains a key strategic focus for Integro and plays an important role in growing our national presence. We are currently looking nationally at a range of opportunities in this space.”
