Natixis Investment Managers has appointed Mai Platts as director of client services as the firm expands its lineup of promoted managed funds and active ETFs.
Platts joins from Bennelong Funds Management, where she has served as an account director since April 2022. Bringing nearly two decades of funds management experience across key account, dealer group and adviser relationship management, she previously spent almost a decade at Betashares.
In the Sydney-based role, Platts will lead the client services function and support the growth of Natixis IM’s capabilities. She will report to head of client services & operations for Australia and New Zealand, Barbara Whyte.
Commenting on the appointment, Natixis IM country head for Australia and New Zealand, Louise Watson, said the firm was pleased to welcome Platts to support its wholesale clients and platform partners across Australia.
“Her role will support the growth of the range of active ETFs and managed funds promoted by Natixis IM, leveraging the very best solutions from our global expert affiliate managers to serve the personal, and increasingly complex, needs of our clients,” Watson said.
Platts said she looked forward to joining the team and supporting the growth of client relationships across Australia.
“It’s an exciting time to join the team as together we will grow our best-in-class global solutions to our local clients.”
Natixis IM’s current wholesale offering includes managed funds and active ETFs managed by affiliate investment managers Loomis Sayles, Vaughan Nelson, Mirova, Flexstone Partners and IML. The firm manages US$1.5 trillion in assets under management.
