AustralianSuper hires Tria founder

Tria Investment Partners co-founder Andrew Baker has been appointed by industry fund AustralianSuper as its new head of proposition and product.

Former Tria Investment Partners founder and managing partner, Andrew Baker, has been appointed in the role after leaving the wealth management firm he founded in March this year.

Mr Baker said he was "looking forward to helping AustralianSuper find better and more innovative ways to deliver on its core objective of providing Australians with their best possible retirement, and [was] passionate about contributing to the industry’s efforts in developing sound policy”.

AustralianSuper group executive, membership, Paul Schroder said: “We’re excited to have attracted someone of Andrew’s calibre.”

Prior to founding Tria, Mr Baker was director, head of products, at Rothschild Australia Asset Management.
