Pengana nabs $28m mandate

Launches bond fund to wider market

Industry superannuation fund Combined Fund has invested $28 million in fund manager Pengana Capital's Global Bond Fund.

The fund uses a multi-manager approach, investing in seven different funds. It invests in six asset classes: global treasury, global investment grade, corporate credit, bank loans, emerging market debt and cash.

"We managed the global bond fund on behalf of a different client. We have only just launched this fund to the wider market," Pengana Capital chief investment officer Nick Griffiths said.
