In a statement, JP Morgan Asset Management said it had appointed James Matt and Jacqui Crothers to the roles of consultant adviser and northern region key account manager, respectively.
Mr Matt was most recently a regional director of consultant relations at Dimension Fund Advisors, and before that was an investment analyst at JANA Investment Advisers.
In his new role, he will be developing and furthering relationships with clients such as asset consultants and research houses and will report to JP Morgan AM Australia chief executive Rachel Farrell.
Ms Crothers joins JP Morgan from Colonial First State Global Asset Management where she was a business development manager and responsible for serving financial advisers and dealer groups.
Prior to that, she held a number of roles at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
Her role as northern region key account manager will see her strengthen relationships with independent financial advisers and major institutions.
