Following a tender process completed in the second half of 2017, $30 billion Funds SA has chosen JANA Investment Advisers as its new asset consultant.
JANA will replace Willis Towers Watson as Funds SA's asset consultant. A spokesperson for Funds SA said the fund has had a "working relationship" with Towers Watson since 2009.
Funds SA chief executive Jo Townsend said the fund was pleased with the high quality of tenders from "all participating firms" in the tender.
"JANA is an organisation that has an extensive and diversified client base, and is well placed to serve the evolving needs of Funds SA and contribute to investment outcomes for our clients," Ms Townsend said.
"We would also like to acknowledge Willis Towers Watson, whose strong working relationship has made a meaningful contribution to the investment outcomes achieved for clients."
