Prior to his appointment with Lazard, Mr Cuddy was chief executive of Bennelong Australian Equity Partners, which he co-founded, and has also worked at ING, NRMA and Westpac.
Lazard Asset Management Pacific chief executive Robert Prugue said Mr Cuddy was well versed in the Australian market and was a good fit for the role.
