Before joining SunGard, Dr Laurence Wormald was chief risk officer for a business unit of Deutsche Bank Global Markets in London. He had previously held a number of risk director and research director positions at various financial modelling firms, and has also acted as a consultant to major financial and government institutions, including the Monetary Analysis Area at the Bank of England and the Research Directorate-General at the European Central Bank.
