Mark Clacy-Jones has joined Standard Life Investments' global real estate team, making the move from London-headquartered real estate company Knight Frank.
Mr Clacy-Jones will be based in Standard Life Investments' head office in Edinburgh where he will be hold responsibility for "guiding and facilitating global strategy across the Standard Life Investments real estate funds".
Anne Breen, head of real estate research and strategy at Standard Life Investments, pointed to Mr Clacy-Jones' "valuable experience and skillset".
"His deep understanding of international real estate market dynamics and practical experience means he will instantly add value to our investment team," Ms Breen said.
Mr Clacy-Jones has 10 years of experience in the industry, holding positions at MSCI Real Estate and IPD before his time at Knight Frank.
