IQ Group has appointed John Shea as the principal consultant for its Queensland operations.

The superannuation and wealth management consultancy group said Mr Shea will lead a team of consultants.

Prior to Mr Shea’s appointment he most recently worked for OpenText Corporation as a senior consultant in business process solutions.

“[Also he has] held a senior consulting role with Objective Corporation Limited, as well as consulting and market analyst roles with Gartner Australia and PricewaterhouseCoopers,” a statement from IQ Group said.

“His project experience includes enterprise speech/call centre integration, enterprise content management and business process management/dynamic case management solution domains, commanding a keen understanding of customer experience design.”

“As an experienced BPM practitioner, John has also led the implementation of dynamic case management solutions for clients in the superannuation and financial services sector in Australia and Asia,” the statement said.

The group added Mr Shea will report to Ron Mullins – who previously held the role – the general manager for consulting in the northern region.

“IQ Group is committed to investing in its people and industry expertise so that our clients can make that transition into the new SuperStream-defined operating environment,” IQ Group chief executive Graham Sammells said.

“We are thrilled to have someone of John’s calibre joining the team and we have strong confidence that he will be an invaluable addition for our clients and partners,” he said.
