AustralianSuper has created four jobs to help manage the $33 billion fund.
Industry superannuation fund AustralianSuper has created four jobs in its investment team and promoted two people in the organisation.
The four jobs include a head of infrastructure, head of equities, governance specialist and Asian investment specialist.
The fund has also promoted property investment manager Jack McGougan to head of property and fixed income investment manager John Hopper to head of income assets.
The creation of the four jobs follows a review of AustralianSuper's investment team.
"It has been four years since the establishment of AustralianSuper and in that time our funds under management has grown by 50 per cent," AustralianSuper chief investment officer Mark Delaney said.
"We anticipate that they will double in the next five years and we need to ensure we continue to be in the best position possible to take advantage of this scale for our members."
Investors may need to shift a greater portion of their assets beyond Australia if they are to take advantage of emerging investment themes. ... read more »
