Select Asset Management has hired an alternative investment consultant to assist it with assessing fund managers.

Select Asset Management has hired Orchard Harbour to assist it with conducting due diligence on investment managers.

Orchard Harbour will work with the investment firm to identify and assess the operational risks of existing and potential new managers that may be included in Select's multi-manager portfolios.

Select's diversified portfolios include conventional single and multi-manager diversified options.

In November last year, the firm made a number of changes to its portfolio, including moving part of its allocation from fund of hedge funds to single hedge funds.
