Keen to recruit 10 more practices

Matrix Planning Solutions has recruited Sydney based firm DeltaPlan Financial Services.

Former Financial Wisdom (FinWiz) member firm DeltaPlan Financial Services (DeltaPlan) has joined independent dealer group Matrix Planning Solutions (Matrix).

The Sydney CBD based practice is led by managing director and adviser Peita Diamantidis who founded the practice alongside DeltaPlan chairman Warwick Hearne in 2006.

Matrix said the firm originally specialised in mortgages but since its establishment had broadened its services with the purchase of three financial planning client databases.

The DeltaPlan team comprises five staff including two authorised representatives and continues to offer advice on mortgages, as well as superannuation, pre-retirement and retirement planning, personal life insurance and savings plans.

Both Hearne and Diamantidis have a long history in financial services as well as actuarial training and experience running their own consulting companies.

"We have been impressed by the flexibility of Matrix's staff and services across all areas," Hearne said.

"This translates into flexible involvement with us that assists us to better service our customer needs."

Matrix said it was looking to attract a further 10 practices over the next couple of years and that it would like to grow its adviser numbers from 96 to approximately 120.

The last practice to join Matrix prior to DeltaPlan was A&B Financial Planning, a former member firm of Count Financial, which joined in April this year.
