An executive director of the bank's investment lending division has left the company.
Macquarie executive director Steve Robertson has left the firm.
InvestorDaily understands that Robertson left for personal reasons.
Robertson had 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, including jobs with Citibank, JP Morgan and Rothshild.
His roles at Macquarie included head of distribution and marketing for Macquarie Margin Lending. In 2006, he subsequently became head of the then margin lending division.
He recently joined not-for-profit organisation Opportunity International Australia as a donor relations director.
"After 20 years of working in corporate financial services, I am keen to apply my skills, knowledge and network to invest back in the community," Robertson said in a statement.
Opportunity International Australia arranges microfinancing facilities for people in poor regions throughout the world.
