The firm's head of property John Snowden hires two people to the team, including a former colleague.
AIMS Financial Group (AIMS) has hired two people to its property business.
AIMS Snowden Global Property Securities Management has hired Barry Oxford as senior manager in global property securities and Amy Pham as a global securities analyst.
Oxford previously worked at Colonial First State Global Asset Management and UBS Global Asset Management. He will be based in New York.
Pham was previously on maternity leave. Her last job was at Insurance Australia Group as head of property securities. Pham will be based in Sydney.
Both Oxford and Pham will report to the division's managing director John Snowden.
Snowden joined AIMS in May as the firm looked to broaden its property securities products.
He continues to manage the property mandates under MacarthurCook. AIMS had bought a majority stake in MacarthurCook in July 2009.
"The appointment of Barry and Amy is another step towards the group's strategy of having senior operatives in each of the core real estate markets," Snowden said.
"With the United States and Asia Pacific currently accounting for well over 50 per cent of global real estate investment trust indices, it was important to get experienced and successful candidates for the team."
