ING Australia has cut its distribution team by two.
Financial services firm ING Australia has made its head of funds management, sales and marketing Vinnie Wadhera and national key account manager Shaun Trumbull redundant.
Wadhera was in his role since 2008, when the position was created after a realignment of the sales and marketing team.
He has been with ING Australia since 2005, while prior to that he was Allianz Global Investors director of institutional business for the Asia-Pacific region.
ING Australia said it did not want to comment on the redundancies.
"Our policy is not to comment on staff from a privacy point of view," a spokesman said.
He denied ING Australia was conducting a restructure following the acquistion of the remainder of the stake in the business by ANZ.
"If anything we are growing, really. With the new brand happening later this year, there are more people coming than leaving," he said.
