AMP hires millennium3 staffers

By Julie May
Mon 21 Jun 2010

AMP has expanded its IFA (independent financial adviser) and alliances distribution wealth protection sales team with two appointments based in Queensland.

Kevin Canning has been appointed Queensland regional leader business development manager, while Reece Foster has been hired as a business development manager.

"Both Kevin and Reece's extensive industry knowledge and experience will be a great asset to the AMP IFA and alliances distribution sales team. These key appointments reaffirm our commitment to growing our presence in the IFA risk market nationally," AMP IFA and alliances distribution director Dan Powell said.

Canning joins AMP from dealer group millennium3 Financial Services, where he was head of key accounts, while Foster also joins from millennium3, where he managed his own insurance practice as an authorised representative of the dealer group.
