By Staff
Thu 11 Mar 2010

The investment house loses another person from its property team.

Colonial First State investment analyst Jessica O'Brien has departed the firm.

O'Brien worked with the team who managed the Colonial First State Wholesale Colliers Fund, International Property Securities Fund and Colonial First State FirstChoice Colliers Global Property Fund.

According to industry sources, Colonial First State is currently looking to replace O'Brien.

Colonial First State's property securities team is currently led by former UBS portfolio manager Andrew Nicholas.

Nicholas replaced John Snowden, who left the firm April 2009. In May 2009, portfolio manager Barry Oxford also left the firm.

In its most recent research report on the team, Morningstar moved its recommendation to 'Hold' given the size of the team.

According to a Morningstar report, Colonial First State's global property assets are now run by Nicholas and portfolio managers Stuart Axelrod and Marc Lederman.

Colonial First State was unable to provide comment.
