Radar appoints Queensland associate

By Julie May
Mon 10 Aug 2009

Boutique buyer advocate Radar Results has employed Narelle Burke as its new Queensland associate.

Burke brings to Radar Results 15 years of funds management, platform, practice management and financial planning experience, and has worked at companies including HSBC Asset Management, Great Southern Securities, Norwich Union (now Aviva), AMP and a financial planning practice.

"Having worked closely with financial planners and accountants throughout Queensland for most of her working life, Narelle has had first-hand experience assisting in the transition of businesses before, after and during acquisition," a group spokesperson said.

Up until recently, Radar Results director John Birt, who still takes care of the Sydney region, was responsible for the Queensland region.

Birt plans to appoint a Sydney associate so he can concentrate on growing the firm and giving greater support to state associates.
