ANZ staffer Justin Greiner will replace George Haramis in an acting role.

Justin Greiner is set to replace George Haramis as acting head of advisory and risk at ANZ Private Bank.

Greiner has been promoted to the role in an acting capacity following Haramis' departure to rival Perpetual Private Clients.

"Justin Greiner, who is head of Private Bank NSW, is acting as head of advisory," an ANZ spokesperson said.

Prior to joining ANZ, Greiner was Greenway Capital head of retail and chief operating officer. Prior to that position he was head of financial planning at Westpac.

Perpetual announced Haramis' hire late last week as the new Perpetual Private Clients Victorian state manager.

The move comes less than six months after Haramis was hired as head of advisory and risk at ANZ Private Bank.

Prior to joining ANZ, Haramis was managing director of ING-owned dealer group RetireInvest.

As at June 30, 2008, Perpetual Private Clients had about $7.7 billion in funds under advice.

Perpetual Private Clients in Victoria has about 2,500 client relationships and almost $3 billion in funds under advice.
