Enrich Australia releases an online ethics program that provides advisers with a practical framework for dealing with conflict.
Enrich Australia has launched a new, accredited, online program that will provide financial advisers with a foundation for managing ethics and conflict issues.
The ethics program is designed to equip advisers with a practical framework for analysing and resolving ethical challenges, according to Enrich Australia director Mandy Lamkin.
"We've come up with a practical framework for dealing with ethical challenges around conflict, and working out whether or not the conflict is actually an ethical issue or just a conflict of interest, or a legal issue," she said.
The course provides valuable opportunities for advisers to think critically and reflect on their practice, Lamkin said.
"It delivers advisers a practical method for articulating their own principles with the view to devising a personal Code of Ethics, which can act as a reliable benchmark or reference point for applying to numerous situations."
The program is FPA accredited and provides advisers with three continuing professional development (CPD) points, the full quota for an adviser's triennium, she said.
The course has already received interest from adviser dealer groups, according to Lamkin.
