Hastings Funds Management has hired Jeff Pollock to head its listed business, the Australian Infrastructure Fund (AIF).

Pollock previously worked with Babcock and Brown's infrastructure businesses as a chief financial officer and chief operating officer.

He has also worked with the Queensland Government's Office of Energy as a director.

"Jeff's exposure to the broader global transport infrastructure sector will complement the existing portfolio of AIF and will enhance the strong future growth opportunities which exist in the AIF business," Hastings chief executive Steve Boulton said.
