Australia-based global equities firm Bell Asset Management (BAM) has named a new head of distribution.

Nina Redfern, a former director of client and consultant relationships with Queensland Investment Corp (QIC) and Royal London Asset Management, will join BAM as the company seeks to expand its business in Australia and overseas.

“This position has been created to lead the distribution efforts of our global equities strategy and Nina’s appointment is a great win for the business. Her experience adds to our already strong investment capability,” said Bell Asset Management’s chief investment officer Ned Bell.

“Ms Redfern [will] work closely with industry and corporate superannuation funds, government investment agencies, insurance groups, multi-manager investment platforms and asset consultants,” said Mr Bell.

“Bell Asset Management is a trusted asset manager with an excellent track record over an extended period,” said Ms Redfern.

“I look forward to helping investors shape their portfolios,” she said.
