Global investment house T Rowe Price has appointed a former MLC and NABInvest business development manager as it expands its Australian presence into Victoria.

Jonathan Ross will join the company as a BDM to fill the position vacated by current NSW and QLD BDM Heath Branigan, who will relocate to T Rowe Price’s new Melbourne office.

“We are very fortunate to have such a highly talented and experienced team of people, each well regarded for the skills, expertise and value they bring to the portfolio and construction process of our clients,” said T Rowe Price head of relationship management Murray Brewer.

“The expanded operation and team reflects the firm’s commitment to the critical Melbourne market and its ability to help achieve client objectives with bespoke equities and fixed income solutions.”

The move follows the appointment of David Frazer to the Melbourne-based role of institutional relationship manager last year.

“We are delighted that Heath will be joining David in Melbourne after three very successful years growing our business for adviser-directed clients, and we warmly welcome Jonathan as we embark on this exciting time of growth,” Mr Brewer added.
