Mr Holt will be responsible for providing technical investment advice and support to advisers across a range of asset classes and Perpetual investment funds.
He will also provide input into the development of product strategy for Perpetual Investments.
He will join the company in early December from his current role at Zurich as an investment specialist.
Prior to his role at Zurich Mr Holt spent four years at BlackRock and has a total of 18 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Perpetual Investment Specialists manager Adam Curtis said Mr Holt will bring a wealth of experience which will strengthen Perpetual’s offering to the market and ensure the company is well positioned to achieve future growth.
“Within Perpetual Investments, the distribution team plays a key role in driving inflows and revenue, as well as servicing the needs of our clients,” he said.
“James will add significant value to our sales and distribution strategy by sharing his specialist technical advice and support with potential and existing clients.”
