The Commonwealth Bank has announced a number of senior personnel movements, including a new group executive of international financial services.

CBA chief executive Ian Narev has just now announced that the bank’s group executive of international financial services, Simon Blair, will stand down from his role in late October, but will continue to represent CBA on a number of boards in Asia and Europe.

The statement reveals that Mr Blair will be replaced by Rob Jesudason, current group executive of group strategic development, who will take up the reins of the international financial services business from 1 November.

In addition, Grahame Peterson, group executive, business and private banking, will also step down at the end of 2014, after 35 years with the bank.

CBA is now undertaking an external and internal search process to replace Mr Peterson.

More to come.
