The Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) has made a number of changes to its board of directors, with AFA GenXt chair Brad Fox to succeed Jim Taggart as national president.

Adam Smith from Western Australia will take up the post of national deputy president, while Michael Nowak from Queensland will take on the role of director for that state. Other new state board directors include Kevin Richardson for Tasmania, David Sutherland for South Australia and the Northern Territory and Kenn Williams for Western Australia.

National treasurer Dennis Bateman, director for Victoria Esther Althaus and director for New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory Marc Bineman will remain on the board in their current roles.
