ABN Amro Asset Management has appointed former Advance head of product Keryn Farrell as its chief operating officer.

ABN Amro Asset Management has appointed former Advance Asset Management (Advance) head of product Keryn Farrell as its chief operating officer.

Farrell, who spent seven years at Advance, will be responsible for operations, administration, finance and IT.

Before joping advance Farrell spent five years at investment manager State Street in Sydney and London. She also spent almost 10 years as an auditor with Ernst & Young and Westpac.

"We are delighted to have Keryn on board and are sure her extensive industry experience will enhance our ability to service existing and future clients," ABN Amro Asset Management chief executive Ian Manton-Hall said.

ABN Amro has also appointed Matthew Winning from Zurich Asset Management as compliance and risk analyst. He will report to Craig Giffin.
