Two big-hearted advisers who took part in a charity head shave have raised $11,000 for the Leukaemia Foundation. Strategy Financial Planning advisers Patrick Anwandter and David Price took part in the World's Greatest Shave to raise bucks for charity and highlight the issue of platform rebates.

More than 80 clients and staff turned up to see Australia's former world sprint champion Melinda Gainsford Taylor shave nine heads at the Strategy offices in Brookvale, Sydney. An accounting group also took part, bumping up the total raised to $17,000. "It was a good fun day," Price said. Price established Strategy Financial Planning, based in, in September 2005 as a strictly fee-for-service business.
